     Hi, I'm Chris Szymanski: Founder of AsbesTree Incorporated.  I was a fireman for fifteen years and saw hundreds of Christmases (and LIVES) destroyed by fires...fires that could have been prevented if only fireproof trees had been available.

     In 1999, determined to stop the senseless loss of life and property, I began seeking venture capital to form AsbesTree. After initial efforts to earn money by selling my kidney on Ebay were blocked, I was able to secure $100000 from Morris Phillips Tobacco Inc., to start the company.
