Hot off the press!

October 19, 2000:It has been confirmed that some of the ROF series of motherboards have defective solder. The problem has now been resolved. Anyone owning a defective motherboard will be issued a $20(us) gift certificate to Tandy/Radio Shack to by a soldering kit as long as they send proof of purchase and a SASE to PCChimps.

October 1, 2000:There have been some reports of some or all of the components falling off the ROF series motherboards. Our PCChimps technicians have looked into the mater and are fairly certain that this is simply a software problem. A new BIOS image has been issued.

September 9, 2000:PCChimps is proud to announce the new ROF series of Athlon motherboards. The boards are based on the new SIS Athlon chipset. Three models are currently available: The basic L version with 2ISA and 3PCI slots, the LMAO version with 3PCI slots and no ISA slots, and the LMFAO version with 2ISA slots, 3PCI slots and an integrated RAID controller.
